About Nick Normandin, FNP-C

Nick is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner at Monarque Health & Wellness who provides care to all patients in a judgment-free environment. Nick understands that meeting health goals is a journey and welcomes all, regardless of where they are on their journey. He focuses on the provider-patient relationship and is there to assist patients in reaching the healthiest versions of themselves based on agreed-upon goals. Nick is passionate about providing competent care to the LGBTQ+ community and providing a safe environment for everyone. Nick grew up in Boise, Idaho, and loves all things outdoors and nature. He now lives in Southern Oregon and loves everything it offers. He spends his free time with his husband, dog, and cat. He earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Colorado State University before getting his bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Colorado in Denver. He has 12 years of experience as a registered nurse in many areas of medicine, including critical care, emergency room, surgery, cardiology, and others.
With the desire to have more autonomy and the ability to help a variety of patients with multiple needs, Nick decided to return to school, earned a master’s degree in nursing as a family nurse practitioner, and graduated top of his class with honors. Health equity and inclusivity are top priorities, and Nick believes everyone should be able to access care that benefits their individual needs. Through evidence-based care and patient education, he looks forward to providing patient-centered care that focuses on the whole person: body, mind, and soul.
