Brian Prestwich, MD

Dr. Prestwich is Chief Medical Officer for Monarque Health and Wellness. He has over 35 years of experience as a teacher and clinician, and his responsibilities include care process development, leveraging value-based metrics to continually improve patient care, staff education, and clinical support of our nurse practitioners. Dr. Prestwich was Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California prior to his work as Assistant Professor of Clinical Family Medicine at the Geffen School of Medicine of the University of California, Los Angeles. He has championed the application of the Improvement Model from the Institute of Healthcare Improvement to the transformation of primary care practices into value producing Patient Centered Medical Homes. His work has also focussed on interprofessional care team design for the care of complex patients and families.
